🔱 Beginner Guide/Key Links🔱

Beginner Overview: First of all, welcome to Blue Abyss, we hope you enjoy your stay and able to write many fun Characters and fun stories here! This overview will provide you with a brief look, along with links to, all topics of importance on the forum. The topics will be split into 2 parts, the first being all templates needed for creation/approval on this forum, followed by all rules topics, presented in order of recommended reading, for ease of character creation. Before those are covered however, here is what characters Receive when starting here on Blue Abyss:
Tier: All Characters may start at Tier 1, Character who have at least 5 sentences Personality and 5 sentences for History may start at Tier 2.
Species: All Character may select 1 Species from the Playable Species list.
Profession: All Characters may select 1 Profession from the Professions list.
Allegiance/Faction: All Characters must select a Major Faction as their allegiance, the available choices are: Pirates, Marines, Independent, and Revolutionary. Characters may select Minor Factions as per their regulations/requirements if they so desire.
Attribute Points: All Characters at Tier 1 start with 6 Base Attribute Points, Characters at Tier 2 start with 8 Base Attribute Points. This can be increased with the Gifted Trait.
Traits: All Characters start with at least 2 Traits, Characters whose species is Human start with 3 instead.
Perk Points: All Characters start with 10 Perk Points at Tier 1, or 14 Perk Points at Tier 2. This can be increased via the Talented Trait.
Berries: Characters who are Tier 1 start with 3 Million Berries, Characters who start at Tier 2 receive 1 Million Berries.
Equipment/Ships: Character automatically receive 1 piece of Signature Equipment, and may purchase more with their starting berries. Characters who purchase the Cyborg Species at Creation and/or at any later date receive 2 Specialized Cybernetic Equipment of Common Quality. Characters automatically receive a Personal Ship with 0 Upgrade slots. They may exchange this as normal once they join a crew and/or upgrade it according to those rules.
