Tier & Experience Guide
Tier’s
Tier Overview: Tiers are the measurement of a Characters complete capabilities when it comes to battle. Noticeably this makes it run parallel with fame/bounties, however it can also run opposite. Someone could be incredibly powerful but unknown to the world, while someone weak could be highly wanted. Regardless, Tier’s function is to show just how strong a character is, though in no way does being a higher tier automatically make you the victor against those lower, as shown in the series Luffy beat people who were stronger than him at a time. Below is the list for Tier’s and what they award when one reaches said Tier, and a few extra rules regarding Tiers:
Starting Tiers: All of these Tier values represent the Base values received by all Characters upon reaching or starting at a Tier. If a Character starts off at Tier 2, then they receive all the benefits of Tier 1, except for Berries awarded by Tier 1. The Values awarded by Tier may be adjusted through the following methods: the Gifted Trait, the Talented Trait, the Armory of One Trait. The standard starting Tier for all Characters is Tier 1. Character may start at either Tier 2 depending on the following:
Tier 2: For your Character to start at Tier 2 they must have at least 5 sentences worth of information under each of the following sections: Personality, History. Once Approved in this state the Character may put Tier 2 at the top of their Combat Sheet during Creation.
Tiers and PvP: During PvP all Players will receive the Base Health Value increases awarded by Tier equal to the Highest Tier present in the PvP Combat Thread. Example: a Tier 4 Player Character is fighting a Tier 2 Player Character, instead of having only a 125 Base Health Value, the Tier 2 Player Character would have a 175 Base Health Value, the same as the Tier 4. This is to keep matches a bit more even and discourage rank culture mentality.

Experience
Experience: Experience, also known as EXP is how Characters grow in strength on Blue Abyss. EXP is acquired from three sources on Blue Abyss, all of which will be detailed below:
Adventures: Adventures award EXP per Challenge the Player Characters complete during the Adventure. These Exp values can be modified with EXP increases from Player Character sources.
Exp increases: Exp increases all stack with one another, to a maximum of 50%. When a Character becomes Tier 10, or reaches 5,400 EXP (Whichever comes first), all EXP increases that are active on a Character from any source, so long as it is active on them, instead provide +5 Technique Points for the Character.
Exp Tier Requirements: A Characters Tier, is largely, determined by the amount of EXP a Character has accumulated. Characters increase in Tier when their total EXP value reaches or exceeds the total EXP required. Character may choose to not increase their tier, and simply go up in Tier later.
